Our Story

It Started With One Old House

It started in 2010 with a mansion in Kansas City's Hyde Park, built in 1910 and needing years of work. We bought it, restored it, and kept going. More houses in Kansas City followed, and in 2021 we crossed the state to Saint Louis. Ten homes later the approach has not changed. Buy a house worth the work, take the time to do it right, and set it up for people who want to stay a few days or a few months. What holds it together is our eye for design and an obsession with old houses that has never quite worn off.

How We Host

Built For Gatherings

Some of these homes sleep 14 to 16, so a wedding party or a family reunion can stay under one roof instead of splitting across hotel floors. Others are smaller and set up for stays of a month or longer, near the universities and hospitals, with fast internet, laundry, and a place to work. William

William works in vacation rentals and is, in his own words, obsessed with houses. He has been buying and restoring them since 2010, starting with a 1910 mansion in Kansas City's Hyde Park. Nine more followed across Kansas City and Saint Louis. He went to school at Kirkwood High, has an eye for design that shows up in every room, and spends most of his time outside of work with his kids.
